Don't forget the sports and celery salt!

What, no pickle? Just kidding, man... that looks great! While I like the concept of the Chicago dog, I always hated that the dogs were steamed or cooked in water. Get a griddle, people! And that Vienna relish... who thought that color was a good idea? Whatever... it's very tasty. And those Rosen's Mary Ann poppyseed buns... nomnomnom...
But boiled dogs should be abolished.
I always meant to do a "deconstructed" tempura version of the Chicago dog, cutting the Vienna franks into "blossoms" and deep frying them along with battered tomatoes, pickles, onions, and sport peppers. One of these days...

Oh yeah.... GO CUBS!

If you're going tempura, you have to do the octo-dog!
I love the kosher spear. So much so that I ate them all at a previous game.
Bread and butter ate good but don't match.
Actually the Rosen poppyseed are hard to get! No poppy seeds at the store.
(And I'm near Schaumburg).
I totally prefer the grill / broiler over boiling. I'm sure those methods are more convenient for pushing through the the volume.
And the relish come from Marketing.
"how can we increase brand awareness?"

Agreed on all counts. I always split my dogs so I can get more surface area for charring
