Storage of fresh vegetables
Norway_33268
We sometimes prepear vegetables for the weekdays and I wonderd if some of you have some suggestions for storage. How to keep them as fresh as possible. We cut onions, carrots broccoli and so one for 5 days an keep them in the refrigerator. The question is how to keep them as fresh as possible for up to 5-6 days.

Do you have a link for any of this that you can recommend?

These will work fine. If the vegetables are pre-cooked and then stored under vacuum in these rigid containers, and then refrigerated below 5 °C, they will definitely remain fresh for longer.

How would it be to use some of the containers? The one you can connect to the vaccum machine. Are they easy to use?

Vacuum packing them will help because it slows oxidation. The colder, of course, the better too.
