No bs my turkey legs smelled like dog sh**

i cooked them sous vide and followed the chefsteps recipe. 28 hours of cooking and when I opened the bag there was an obvious stench on the legs of dog poop. But the longer you smelled it the more it smelled like turkey. Pause and smell again and it was dog poop. It tasted great but I had to throw it away because of the smell. The breasts were amazing and didn't smell at alll. What could possibly have cause this/

Bacteria (this happens). We discussed this with Doug B during our CS visit. It's happened to a few of us (with beef usually). Often is the case that the bag will also gather air in it and start to float. You can kill it off by putting in the PC for ~30 min. Of course, it changes things to more of a pulled meat meal, but you can save it.
