The kitchen team at ChefSteps does the following:
Using the syringe, fill with water and flush any residual sphere base. Once it all appears to be gone flush soapy water through 4 or 5 times. Rinse and done. Sometimes hot water is needed.

Chris - That is what I have been doing. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the water trapped within the dosing tray?

— Air compressor to blow it out if you have one. Otherwise, dry it in a low oven.

Wonder if flushing a small amount of plain vodka or straight ethanol would speed evaporation of water?
Followed by just pushing room air through system.
