Looks hearty!.... cold weather is coming and soups/stews are such a bowl of comfort. Is that a ham hock wearing a gillie suit in the middle?

Lovely..... except garbanzo beans are as evil as brussel sprouts. Even more so because they could potentially put your eye out!! Pick them out and I'm bringing a couple loaves of Pugliese 'holy bread' to dinner!

Careful byrdie...all this resistance to these certain veg could invoke some sort of weird messed up karma.... like maybe instead of daisies you might be pushing up "Brussels an' bonzos"π±π±

Smoked ham hocks, salt pork, 6 onions, 2lb garbanzos, 8 cloves of garlic, 6 bunches of collards, a tin of tomatoes, all lightly seasoned with pimenton.

I'd rather take chances with my veg karma than lose an eye. I mean, have you ever had a handful of dried garbanzo's!? All you need is a sling shot and there goes somebody's eye. Besides, there are zillions of other veg that I love. It's only Brussels and garbanzo I despise....oh, and lima beans. gak.

"Lunch Tomorrow".... and for the next 4 months if you are making 12 liters of it!
What kind of pressure cooker is that?
Tim_Sutherland_52834
Eight litres went to a client lunch for 10 and the remainder stayed home.
Kuhn Rikon 12 litre. I also have the 5 litre. I've had both for a good five years and they get used on average 2-3 times a month as a PC and at least once a week as a pot.

Hummm, so you like hummus either then? Hummus, good olive oil and warm pita bread, yum!
wolfiegirl
Meh. It's ok. I've had some good and some not so good. Let's just say it's not a 'go to' for me.
