ChefSteps's Boneless Prime Rib
Tim_McLoone_80828
Hi there, I see that the boneless prime rib chef steps is selling is ~6.5lb but how many ribs is that or, even better, how many people does that serve? Asked support and they told me to ask here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's boneless, so none! - That out of the way, a 3 rib is somewhere around 7lbs or thereabouts, so I'd guess this is the same. You want to calculate I think 0.5 lbs / person (which if you have sides and all extra goodies probably will give you a good amount of sammich meat).

Hi Tim, sorry for the confusion. The roast should serve 8-12, depending on how carnivorous your crowd is feeling. Hope that helps!

Thanks, I know it's boneless but at some point it wasn't

Ok that's very helpful, thank you!

It was kinda funny
The numbers correlate to what Tim said though, I just looked at a butcher forum to get the average
