Meats in a prepared marinade
Tom_MacNamara_472051
Some meats, like turkey tenderloin, come in a sealed bag with a liquid marinade.
Can you cook with a marinade, and will it change the cooking time?
This also applies to steak, and using a marinade.

Yes, you can cook with a marinade. And you can even cook right in the sealed bag it comes it, just need to remove the outside labels so the don't come off and get circulated through Joule. Some marinades are better than others, salty ones can draw moisture out of the meat or can cause a mushy texture. Same with steaks, albeit I don't. CS has a few recipes where the cook in the marinade. The Mojo pork is amazing.
