Hi! My name is Josephine. They usually call me Jo and I'm from Jakarta, Indonesia. I've subscribe to chefstep's channel for about 3 years now (nothing special about it) and I always like the joule.
But I was wondering, joule is capable of looooooong-time cooking, and in my country, there's this traditional recipe called rendang (number 1 favorite food in the world in 2011 or 2012 I believe). From what I know, its the longest cooking time in traditional recipes.
It has so many spices and smells really strong, also the meat (using beef only) is also tender after an 8 hours of cooking, even days.
Maybe if chefstep could make this traditional rendang with joule (maybe shorten the time of cooking?) Or the ol' sous vide way is fine, but joule's better. (Who's with me??)
I wish I could just directly email you guys because this is a very long comment.
Have a nice day and happy cooking!
