I have brought joule to work to heat some prepared meals (eg chicken curry; orzo w Greek chicken, both from Trader Joes). The first is in bag already, the other I transfer from tray w/plastic to a vac bag. I set my temp to 160 for chicken. I find the chicken is beautifully tender. However it's a total guessing game re timing.
Question: Any sense of how long is enough to heat the bag of food, based on perhaps how long they suggest for microwave? In other words, I'm looking for a conversion table so I can convert microwave/oven directions to joule time.
Not as sexy as cooking a fresh meal but it still makes a nice lunch....
