@Christopher_Lyle
, which exactly do you mean by slotted top? You mean a lid with a cutout for a Polyscience immersion circulator? If so, we sell those in our store:

@chris
: Do you perchance have the measurements for that top handy? I'm wondering if it'll fit the tub I got with my creative series when I got it from williams-sonoma (before you guys actually sold them
)

If this was the tub that you got with the PolyScience unit at William Sonoma, then it will fit.

@Chris
: Yes it was! Thanks!!

Chris,
Are you sure about that? The cambro WS sells is 12 3/4 x 20 3/4. The PolyScience lid that you sell looks like it is designed for a 12 x 18 unit. Please confirm.

@Robert
— Sorry, I missed your question yesterday. I will confirm tomorrow when I can measure one directly.

@Robert
is correct.
@Patrick
please note the PolyScience lids that ChefSteps sells are not compatible with the William Sonoma cambro. The cambro sold by WS is 12 3/4 x 20 3/4 whereas the PolyScience cambro and lids are 12 x 18.

I orderd a PolyScience from William Sonoma this summer that included a Free Cambro and pot. The Cambro I received is not the standard sized sold by PolyScience. I don't use it with my PolyScience because it is too shallow and the bottom of the immersion circulator touches the bottom of the container. I don't know if this is the same Cambro they are currently including with the special, but it looks the same from the picture.
I ended up ordering a 12x18 Cambro unit and a lid from ChefSteps and I love it. Much better then putting plastic wrap around the top of the pot I was using for the past half a year.

As others have said, as of 10 days ago, the free tank from WS is a Cambro that is not the same size as the tank from PolyScience. The PolyScience tanks appear to be the RubberMaid 18"x12"x9" 19L Polycarbinate container.
The Cambro does not come with a lid nor does the PolyScience lid fit it.
Interesting the Cambro from WS is a 25.59L tank for an immersion circulator rated for a max tank of 20L.

I'll try and clear up this issue. Just talked to someone straight from polyscience that wanted me to help everyone. These are the lids they have. I believe these are the model numbers: 300-900 - cutout for creative series units. 300-818 - cutout for chef series. The tank Williams Sonoma offers is actually a Cambro 18CW food pan. Which they do sell again as of a few days ago. I hope this helps anyone with this issue!!! Any other questions just ask, I can get in touch with polyscience pretty easy as I know most of their staff!

@Johan-
No problem. Received my lid today free of charge. Works great!
Joel_Sandler_31289
Tucker,
Did you get a lid that fits the WS free container or another container?
Thanks
Macutan_36709
@Tucker
, I am in the same situation as Joel and others here. I do not know which (or where) to buy a lid for the WS free container (

)
Can anyone pls point us in the right direction?

I need a cover as well although the shipping costs are a bit steep from webresataurantstore.com. If you are in the Seattle area, are you interested in joining me in a group purchase to defray the shipping costs?
