The cambro poly containers come in all different shapes and sizes (both round and square) so I'm sure you can find one that fits your needs. The only problem with those is the lid won't have the cutout for the circulator but nothing a saw can't fit. As for the container within the container, I've never found the temperature to fluctuate enough to really warrant the extra insulation, especially with a quality circulator like the polyscience. Seems to me like an added cost with not much benefit.
I have a lab circulator that I put on a 22L poly box for most everyday cooks and then the full size container like you describe for the bigger cooks like shoulders or large quantities for parties.

If you want an insulated water bath look at small eskies (coolers for non Australians, and chilly bins for the Kiwis out there).
While I haven't run the numbers, you would reduce the amount of electricity by using an insulated bath verses a non insulated bath, but the payback period I assume is very long. This French
guy
worked out it cost him €0.22 for an 8:45hr 60C cook including preheating the water. The main benefit I see with an insulated bath is you could run a bath much larger than the rated size for the circulator.
