WOW the corned beef flavor was mindblowing, very pronounced after searing the individual pieces but not overly salty. Next time I will be using my own brine and some grass fed brisket (I saw the prepacked at the store and it was yelling "throw me in the circulator!")
I sliced it thin and decided to sear the individual pieces for some extra texture, it was great with the honey mustard reduction I made. Mywife made a sandwich and let me have a bite, it was really good too. The veggies were just roast in the oven, I absolutely LOVE cabbage like this, if you have never tried it or if you don't like cabbage this will rock your world. I will never boil cabbage again. It looks burnt in the pictures but its just a little charred and thats actually the best part!
We only used half the corned beef so I resealed it and threw it back into the water bath to see what it will be like tomorrow, I'll update this post at that time, I see either a warm salad or maybe a corned beef melt in my future for lunch tomorrow.

PS the last picture is some cabbage i seared on the cast iron waiting for it to heat, also awesome!
