So my iPhone is only 16 gb and i keep getting the "your storage is almost full" message. When looking at my storage in settings I noticed that the Joule app is currently taking up 166.3 mb of documents and data (cache) compared to an app size of 43.5 mb (takes up 209.8 mb total). This is ridiculous. In general I hate when apps like facebook, instagram, and twitter do this, but I use them a lot and eventually my phone clears them out. I have used the Joule app twice in the past week. I didnt browse around, I just simply manually set the temp for chicken once and used the ultimate steak guide to cook a steak once. I feel like this needs to be addressed where the cache is cleared by the app or there is a setting to do so.
Also a primarily video app like YouTube, which I use almost daily, takes up 934 kb of documents and data and has an app size of 58.5 mb. There is more to this than just videos being big in size or whatever. I realize Joule is not the only app to do things like this, but the sheer size of the cache with minimal use is staggering.
