Today I used a hole saw and Dremel to cut a hole in the lid of the cooler I use for larger/longer cooks. It worked out well, but I'm trying to figure out how to seal up the cut edge of the lid. Since it's a cooler lid, it has the hollow chambers that are now open for water to get into. I thought about using some foam tape, but wasn't sure if I could find some wide enough, and I was also a little concerned how well the adhesive would hold up under hot and humid conditions. Anyone have any other suggestions?
