Home cook: went to use tonight and vacuum pressure all good- - but it's not sealing. Anybody have a troubleshoot idea?

Did the wire that powers the seal bar accidentally come loose? Most common problem.

Thanks for the answer Chris. I'll take the tape off tomorrow to see if I can see a wire problem. Looking as is doesn't look like it.

Check to make sure the wire is getting hot (feel it right after sealing) if it's not hot, you've got an electrical problem somewhere. If it is getting hot, then the next guess is that the bag is not getting adequately pinched between the sealing bars. That could mean replacing the silicone strips on the heat bars.

My mvs 35xp has two buttons/fuses on the bottom of the machine. You will need to lift it up to see them. If one or both of the buttons are proud push it back in and the sealer should work.

I just got the same toy,I was playing with it. To seal liquid do we use 99,9 percent vac and do we use any extra ?

also i got burns on my tape. Some black marks. I am gonna order a type. What happens if you do not use the tape ?
