A recent recipe inspired me to right this post.
Every time I receive an email from ChefSteps, I pray for recipes such as the Carrot-Parsnip Mash. You see I am a vegan and choose to cook sous vide for the nutritional advantage sous vide has when it comes to preserving the nutrients. This recipe is prime example of one that can be easily modified with a butter sub to make it a wonderful vegan option.
My request to you is to make your site a bit more vegan friendly. As you may know, veganism is on the rise and there are many families such as my own that are blended vegan and non-vegan. I use sous vide as a major method of cooking at home to accommodate both. I would love to see some focus on recipes for those like myself as well, to be able to easily identify those recipes which can be easily modified to accommodate would be amazing.
Would love to have he community weigh in.
