I know I'm the millionth person asking this, but any idea when the international version will be available? Are you guys even working on one? Don't want to buy another Anova

We're working on it, but nothing to announce just yet.

Aaargh! We're starving over here!

Works great with a transformer! Problem is, it costs more than the Joule itself...

I'm as keen as all the other non-110v would-be users, but is there nay possibility of the forum moderator combining all of the similar threads in to one, and then making it 'sticky' so that it is highly visible for people trying to find news of progress?
Whilst here, though, the official responses appear to be consistently vague. Chefsteps, is this ever going to see an actual release date, or should we give up and buy an Anova instead? It feels as if I've been waiting for news for more than one year, now, with the vacuum sealer and bags I purchased in anticipation gathering many layers of dust!

With respect, sound like ChefSteps doesn't really care about the rest, "we're working on it", could mean any thing, a bit of guidance as to maybe when eg hopefully by the end of the month, end of the year, end of the decade... rather than keeping everyone hanging. I would prefer this better item, but am tired of waiting for some form of commitment from chefsteps. Will wait another week to see if this post will help to give a time frame before getting a lesser product now.
Thanks in advance for any response

Chris, please can you provide more details as requested by both Simon and I? Given how well organised ChefSteps appears to be, technically, I assume there is a project timeline for the international version. How far along are you, and if there are no unexpected problems then what is the resulting ETA for production and shipping? To restate part of my query, will there definitely be a product, or is that not guaranteed? The answers to these questions will really help us make smart and economical decisions. I also suggest emailing out regular updates to everyone that has signed up for news, as apart from the confirmation email I believe I have received none.

I emailed ChefSteps back in January '17 and this was the reply -
"Thank you so much for your message and for your interest in Joule!
Sadly, we are not able to provide a time frame with certainty that we will be selling Joule to the international market. I am so sorry about that and we definitely encourage you to move forward with purchasing another device due to the lack of ETA on our end.
Thanks so much!"
SO disappointed.
What can I say, not looking good for the 220V world.
Sorry for the bad news guys
