spongecake

help!!!

i need a good working recipe for spongecake in the microwave with pistachio taste !!!

i have tryed already 2 recipes with pistachios inside but the result was a dense cake, with very little taste of pistachio ;(

need something i can try tomorrow, because have it on the menu tomorrow !!!

anyone ?

So are you trying to do the whipping siphon cake? If so, have you tried using a recipe that has vegetable oil, and replacing the vegetable oil entirely or in part with pistachio oil? Pistachio oil has a fairly strong flavour.

yes the siphon cake,

no oil in my recipes !

and i have a hard time to get pistachio oil , but i´m very interested in a recipe with oil

i tryed to make a fake pistachio oil today, by just blending vegetable oil with pistachio and filtering after ... the flavor was much stronger , but as i said, i dont have a recipe with oil in it ...

That's a good improvisation! I don't have a siphon, so I can't really help you too much, but this recipe http://www.chow.com/recipes/30510-modernist-cuisines-microwave-yellow-cake uses oil.

The only advice I can offer you is to just keep playing around with normal baking ingredients and vegetable oil until you have the texture right, then to use the your homemade pistachio oil to work on the flavour, so as to not waste too many pistachios.
