Bluetooth notice

Everytime I open the app I get a notice saying "Turn On Bluetooth to Allow "Joule" to Connect to Accessories.

Thing is, I only need and use WIFI, and I don't want to keep Bluetooth turned on on my phone for the sake of power savings.

Can that be an option to turn off in a future version of the software? Or is it already somewhere and I'm missing it in the settings?

Is your joule already connected to your Wi-Fi? I know when you initially set up the joule you need to first connect it to the Bluetooth to get out set up, but I haven't experienced the Bluetooth connect request coming back up

Yea, I get that message too and also like to keep Bluetooth off. I second this request to have an option to just turn that notification off.

It is connected to WIFI, which is how I'm using it. I did connect to it via Bluetooth originally, that is the only way to setup the WIFI as far as I know.

Do you have Bluetooth turned on, on your phone?

Nope. I keep that turned off unless I'm using my Bluetooth. You might consider contacting chefsteps directly or submitting a support request

I've seen that message a few times, not always, and think to myself why is it doing that when I'm actively on my wifi!? My last cook, some overnight bacon, prompted that.

I submitted a ticket and Chefsteps confirmed that's the expected behavior, but they've submitted a bug to the development team to look at it.
