Few weeks ago i made a trip to Oslo's 3 michelin star restaurant Maaemo.

Damn! Best dining experience in my life! These are only 9 of 17 courses that were served that day. Every single detail was frickin perfect. Food, service, atmosphere, drinks! Now I understand what 3 stars means, and what is the price you have to pay to keep that perfection! You should definitely try to get a table there!

That look like an amazing meal. These pictures made me think a lot of our experience at Noma. The food/plating look similar but the environment must have been more fancy in your case since Noma "only" have two Michelin stars.

The enviroment was fancy but not like royalty style if you know what I mean. Staff was really friendly, got some jokes and you could ask them whatever you want, about their routine working there, restaurant itself etc. But of course everythin was on highest level! I think the most important thing is that you feel welcomed, you feel like they worked to serve you best of the best. And I think that's how Noma works too, except they take off that fanciness, and makes you feel like you're a guest at some sort of a family style dinner party while serving arguably one of the best tasting menus on the planet!

My dream since childhood is to dine at Noma. I have tried to get a table like 5 times at the very moment they open reservation for next month. They threw me on a waiting list, and I was like 26,357th in a line. Now I have to wait for the Noma 2.0. What is the secret? How did you get a table?!

Got up in the middle of the night to start a few minutes before the opening of the reservations and had two peoples autodialling their phone numbers and two computer trying to get a reservation for my dates. Finally I got a reservation on one of the computer but we've got a big phone bill because their phone is not "busy", it's answering that they are busy and please call back. So the phone company charged us a full call for each of these five seconds...

It was probably easier five years ago when we went. I tried to get a reservation for next month in Mexico but I couldn't get the right dates... :-(
