So, can you/does anyone set up the sous vide before work, say a frozen chicken in a vacuum bag, throw in some ice, and set the Joule on at 68 degrees F (lowest setting). And then, a couple of hours before returning home, switch it to your cook setting?
Probably no prob, just wondering what folks have done.
As a side question, I think the Joule eventually powers down after being inactive for awhile... Can you remotely turn the unit back on?
