I find it sad that a lot of us waited a long time to get our Joule and they can't even throw in the the premium subscription for our loyalty to the company.

John I pre-ordered and waited a significant amount of time for Joule but wasn't given access to the premium subscription for free. With the beta testing you do for C.S. maybe that was an offer only individuals like you were given. With that said I have found Joule worth the wait and was please C.S. reduced the cost in the end when they didn't need too.

The first few months of pre ordering, they did offer a free premium. This had nothing to do with beta testing. However, after the first few months of pre ordering had passed, that was no longer being offered.

If you ordered it the first day it was available for pre-order, you should have received the free membership. I'd recommend contacting them directly at info@chefsteps.com. they Are usually very prompt about getting things resolved. They'll be able to look up the date you pre-ordered and hopefully get to the bottom of this.

Edit: the preorders began in late 2015. Your profile says you became a member in May 2016. If you ordered your joule in May 2016, that was after the window for that offer had closed.

I've been debating about signing up for a while. Looks like my decision has now been made! Really been wanting to try those steam buns...

I had previously purchased three or four classes, which cost, more than current costs, so when they changed to all premium access at one price I was given premium. They used to charge for each premium class. It had nothing to do with beta testing at all. It was being offered when people pre-ordered, but as I already had it, I didn't get it with my pre-order. I don't know what the cut off date was.
