Hey Joulers (and Chefstep)! I noticed that a few weeks back, that an update changed the way the Joule app loaded on my phone. Prior to this, the app would have a longer load time at the beginning due to loading all the resources, but would be fully functional once it got pass that load. Nowadays, the app is so slow on the iPhone 6 (I assume due to it dynamically loading the content as I navigate through the app), that it takes even a few seconds to register a touch. To start a recipe, most of the time is spent on waiting for the UI to load and looking at the "still working..." screen. Essentially every animation is lagging, often taking 5-10 seconds to complete.
I'm just curious if anyone feels that their app is also slow. It certainly wasn't this way a few months ago...I love my Joule and uses it a lot, but it's getting annoying having to use the app to operate it if it's this much hassle.
Are we there yet...
