ChefSteps app removed?

I just saw the notes for the latest version of the ChefSteps app, and they say that the app is going to be removed from the store? Can someone explain what's going on with this? I love and use the app very frequently!

I can only assume they are focusing on the joule app (kind of like everything now)?

Aside from the clunky website on my mobile devices I never really understood the doubling up of content on the app and website. App was just much more convenient that dealing the website I guess.

It was nice to use as a cookbook on my iPad. Just needed landscape view!

This would be a huge bummer! Recipes on the ChefSteps site aren't very printer-friendly, so the app was the best way to actually have the recipe at hand while cooking. I'm a big fan and I hope ChefSteps is considering merging those features into the Joule app...
