Banana Cream Pie in a Jar

I'm going to do the Banana Cream pie in a Jar but the recipe calls for 8 oz jar to be cooked for 1 hour- if I do it in a 4 oz jar should I decrease the cook time? Any ideas?

I have had good luck with 45 minutes in 4 oz jars.
