Any concerns with condensation on the Joule with long cooks?

Hello! I've been doing a lot of longer cooks with my Joule and whether covering the pot with cling wrap or using the lid of the cooler , I am noticing condensation toward the top of the Joule when the vapor escapes.

Do I need to worry about that condensation doing any damage to the unit? Any thoughts on how to prevent it from becoming a problem?

I use a piece of bubble wrap or a piece of closed cel foam sheet that sits right on top of the water which stops the evaporation problem and insulates at the same time.

There's no need to worry about condensation getting into Joule. It was designed from the beginning to be water-sealed. One of my favorite features of Joule. It can even take a dunk in water, just as long as you fish it out immediately. Note that the top of Joule does need to be exposed to open air so the internals don't overheat.

Good to hear. This was a problem with with the polyscience - mine eventually corroded inside and melted itself. They replaced it, but I've moved on to joule because it's much more convenient (uses smaller containers, and I don't have to hold down an arrow button for 5 minutes to set temp).
