Joule in 220V grid. How it survived?

Hi, I know I should've been read more on the subject before plugin my Joule in to a 220V but i did, and surprisingly enough it still works, I used it few times for 30 min and one for 3 hours, and noticed that light flickers in my house, after research I was horrified=)

It not smelled burnt, there is no visible damage, and it still works, I'm just wondering is it safe to continue use it with step-down transformer? Or it will blowup next time I will try to turn it on.

According to chefsteps, back a ways, there would even be an issue using a transformer. I'd recommend contacting them directly: either through the app or sending them a email.
