Motor making labored sounds

My Joule doesn't sound the same as it used to. Anyone's device doing the same?

Its not the whistling that a lot of people are reporting, but it sounds like the motor is very labored when running. Not like the smooth even spinning it used to do. I seem to get this at all temperatures.

I've followed recommended cleaning and vinegar baths with no help.

Anyone?

Have you removed the magnet and propeller, and had a look down the tube? If not, do so and look for build up. I had the devil's own time removing it, the vinegar water doesn't work for anything with me. What I end up doing is gently scratching it off with a bamboo skewer, and wash it with a soft bristle brush. I also use distilled water, and it keeps buildup almost non-existent

I had a similar situation. The vinegar trick didn't work and removed the foot for a closer look. It turned out that some gunk got in the propeller area somehow. I gently cleaned it out and it was good as new.
