When is the joule X international collab dropping?

So.... I'm not trying to ask the same question that everyone outside of 'Murica is asking (kind of) but is there any fellow citizens that know anything or have heard anything about what is going on or when we will hear anything other then Grant trying to learn what meat looks like after it's been cooking in a cast iron on Buzzfeed?

Hi Jeff welcome to the forum. Looks like you’ve got no responses to the question so... yeah I dunno but I’ve suggested many times before for internationals wanting Joule just go get an Anova and get in the sv game. When/If the 220 version comes out you’ll have a back up unit and that’s a good thing!

Thank you for your kind respons, lad. I literally just want to get joule and I try to wait even though I'm a bit impatient. I just want the joule because buying the anova will do 2 things, fill up more space and I'll have a unesassary circulator as soon as the joule will come ( if it ever will). I don't want to bother selling the anova used since if I sell it because joule is out, the chance is less people want to buy it because the joule is out. I just hoped anyone in the community knew anyone that worked at Chefsteps or something.

Nope not much info on that front Joule-wise as in nil nada zip.... but it could happen tomorrow or in a year. It’s an oft asked question around here hence my response. Having two sv machines ain’t a bad thing imo ymmv though.

It's not that I think it's bad having 2 machines, because that would be awesome for like party's or holidays so you can cook multiple things different, I just don't want to bother the cost and the risk of not using both enough. I just think I'm gonna try to wait for something Chefsteps will confirm before I pick anova. It's kind of odd that I heard about joule all the way back to early 2016 ( if not 2015) and saw the message about "no firm eta about international version" and now it has been 1,5 years later and nothing has changed.....
