Sous Vide Precooked Turkey

Does anyone know if you can heat up a whole precooked turkey with Joule? I purchased a smoked bird for Thanksgiving and I'm not keen on serving it room temp, but I don't want to put it in the oven for fear of drying it out. I've done a precooked ham sous vide with success, wondering if it would work with a turkey.

I don't see why not. Might take a while since its a whole bird. I wouldn't go higher than 60C (140F). A few knobs of butter never hurts either!

Just be careful. Because if it's whole it will probably be too large and part of the birds will spend many hours in the "danger zone". Especially if you're staying that low temperature.

Thanks for all the advice guys! It's a 12lb bird so it's not huge but it's still big. I'm still split of whether I should do it because I definitely don't want to get anyone sick, but your advice has been really helpful.

Should be okay. If possible, you may want to butterfly (spatchcock) it to help it heat more evenly. As Lous-Frederic commented, given the relative thickness of some of the parts, you don't want any section staying too long in the danger zone.
