Rubbermaid container

I purchased my Joule, a Rubbermaid 12 quart container and a lid with the circular hole. When I place the Joule in the container with the lid it does not go to the bottom but is several inches above the bottom due to the mounting clip plastic on the Joule. Does it matter that it does not go to the bottom as long as the water level is in the proper range?

How many containers did you get? There's 4 posts. LOL. Regardless, No, it does not have to go to the bottom. Clip it to the side and you're good to go.
