Broken Base

Hi all,

I stupidly knocked my Joule off the counter and the magnetic base broke off. I am assuming that this won't actually effect the machine at all?!

I don't usually use the magnetic base to stand it up, I always clip it to the side of a stock pot or large plastic tub.

It shouldn't have much of an impact on the unit, however, if you'll take a look at that piece that's broken off, you'll see the curved out top. This is to propel the water down and away from the unit. Without that piece, the water will go straight down. It couldn't hurt dropping a help ticket and seeing about getting a replacement. They might tell you it doesn't matter, but they also might tell you it will have a negative effect on its performance. Good luck.
