Joule EU release?

I have been registering in the mailing list for a long long time, but I never hear anything back. I would really like to know what ChefSteps' plan is.

Shall we wait one more year for the Joule EU release?

Likewise here. I've had my eye on Joule since the initial announcement prior to the release. Almost 2 years now I think.

I'm wondering what are the repercussions of getting the current US version and using an adapter to work it outside the US?

Recently some Joules with a UK and EU plug have been spotted (https://www.chefsteps.com/forum/posts/joule-europe-220v-i-found-pictures), so hopefully the release is very soon....
