How To Joule

I guess I just feel like between the two clips and the magnet (and plain ol' gravity) this thing doesn't seem especially useful. Any particular application this would be good for?

What I like about Joule (in terms of storage), is when it is not clipped into my cooking vessel, or standing on its own on the counter, I can wrap the chord and stick it in a drawer.

This seems to solve some cases for me. Today infact when I wanted to sous vide some bacon. I use a cooler so the magnet doesn’t work. The sides are an awkward height and width. Only the big clip will fit (which i have) but then the water intake is far off the bottom so I need to use much more water than necessary. This is fine with large volume or tall items, but not short low stuff. I used up with the standing gravity approach and laying the cord over the side in such a way to strike the right balance and not fall over.
