After buying my Joule I purchased a 12 quart poly carbonate container, flip lid and and Everie sleeve. Then remembering that aluminum foil reflex heat , I cover the sides and bottom of the container with heavy duty aluminum foil to reflect the heat back into the water. The sleeve serves not only to insulate to a minor degree but lowers the heat that goes to the counter. Of course I mounted on a plastic cutting board to further protect the counter
