Min/max distance away to operate

I will be at work when my meal needs to be started for a 24 hr cook time. Can I start it from work using my phone app? I work about 2 miles from home.

If you have Joule set up on wifi the distance is not limited. Make sure you have a plan to keep your food out of the danger zone before beginning your cook.

Agree with Frank 100%. I would also consider that with such a long cook, the extra 6-10 hours you’re away, wouldn’t hurt whatever you’re cooking. If I were you, I would just start it when I left for the morning, and not worry about the extra few hours it’ll cook.
