- Geeta travels the world and is friendly with some of the greatest chefs she encounters in her travels. She pals around with Albert Adria, Pierre Gagnaire, Rocca and many others. I met her three times during two of my trips to Spain, each time we ran into each other accidentally while dining in the city where she floored me with her travel and food exploration stories. I always found it interesting that she is an classical Indian cuisine chef from Southern California yet she is on the ground floor of the modernist cooking revolution thanks to her involvement in the Gastronomika conferences. Check out her blog, its really fascinating to get insight into the minds of some of the greatest chefs in the world.

I always find
The Nordic Food Lab
fascinating, and also
hearthstrung
for a more personal perspective on many of the same topics.

You know, a friend of mine has been in love with this blog for a while:
http://www.sprinklebakes.com
It's all desserts, quite feminine, and not remotely modernist, however, I really enjoy some of the ideas and it's a really fun site. Definitely some nice sources of inspiration and is a site I enjoy browsing when I am not in the mood for anything to scientific.
