Magnetic Cooking Pot - can't find one

Just purchased a Joule a few weeks ago - absolutely love it.

But not loving the clip...at all actually. Started searching for a magnetic/"true steel"/"induction ready" cooking pot. After trying 3 different "induction ready" pots, starting to see a pattern where the bottom is barely or "just enough" magnetic, but only from the outside. By the time you get to the inside, there is nothing.

1.) The induction ready pots - link points to Amazon ,but the 3 I tried did not work. (ex: https://www.amazon.com/Duxtop-Professional-Stainless-Impact-bonded-Technology) 2.) Staub and Le-Creuset, but it seems that there is no great option. You either have to spend ~$100-160 on a 16 quart+ Le-Creuset or $150-$300+ on a Staub.

Has anyone found anything, preferably on Amazon, that is a "normal priced" ($25-55) 6-7 qt cooking pot that works?

My next step is bringing the Joule with me to somewhere like Bed Bath and just sticking it on every pot I see until I find one...but I would much rather get something on Amazon

I'd just use a Cambro or other sort of plastic foodsafe container. Much cheaper, and they tend to work better with the clip. The clip is a nightmare for use on most pots, since they're just not deep enough.

You could also purchase the "Big Clip", which is more adaptable.

@BostonBestEats - thanks! Didn't know about that. @Brandon - I really like the concept of the magnet. Completely agree - the clip is a nightmare on every pot we own.

The problem is that it's too shallow to be practical. It seems cast iron gets wider as they go bigger, but not deeper past a certain point. This on almost FULL water barely covers the water outlet.

Still looking for more/anything that's not as heavy.

This commercial kitchen equipment store sells stuff including dutch cooking pots. I've ordered one for my wife recently.
