Joule Ready Sauces

I came too late to enjoy Joule Ready Sauces before ChefSteps had to cancel them. Is the company that made them now completely out of business, or are they still making them for all manner of sous vide devices using the displacement method?

They discontinued the joule ready sauces, but are still alive and well with the Joule hardware.

The Joule Ready sauces were made by ChefSteps in Seattle. They were essentially handmade in relatively small batches. That part of ChefSteps has been shut down in order to focus on the Joule circulator side of the business. So unless another company buys out that product line, they are gone. Which is too bad, since they were excellent sauces and so much better than anything you'll find in a bottle at the grocery store. I have a dozen or so left!

I miss the Joule Ready sauces, too. I was all set to order more when alas they all had the notation of Out of Stock.

Yes, yet another devotee of the joule ready sauces. Now with only six left, I’m saving them for special occasions, and hoping they resurrect them.
