Thermomix?

I know that Todd Shewman has / had one.

The new one is out, and I'm curious about ppl's experience with them.

I have no interest in using one for fancy meals, (and I have a vitamix, food processor, etc). BUT, we have two young kids, and my wife and I both work. Weeknight meal prep (the time, the cleanup, the stress) is often a stressful chore. If a thermomix would significantly help with that, then I'd be interested in getting one.

Any thoughts?

I have an older model and it's held up well. I have to use a transformer bc I bought it bf they were available in the US. I typically use it for risottos, purees (great if you're using Joule for the protein and want a puree to go with it, not much babysitting), custards, fluid gels, low and slow onions and, soups mostly. I don't use the steamer. No doubt clean up is swift and it's really easy to take apart. I'll typically, do a quick rinse then use a bit of vinegar, hot water and soap and blend on high for about a minute, take it apart and dry.
