If I remember correctly the first time we got the Control Freak offer, the warranty excluded home use. Some of us were asking about that in the forum but we never got an answer, so I let it go.
This year, the site does confirm it has a 2 year limited warranty for commercial AND home use. So, it's no longer ruled out for lack of a warranty and I can evaluate if I'd actually use it enough to be worth the price tag.
Anyone else thinking of getting one?
If you're a nerdy home cook with a Control Freak, was it worth getting it? Do you find that you use it for SV instead of your stick?
