ibili whipping siphon
wschreuders
Hey all,
I'd like to get a whipping siphon as used in certain chefsteps videos such as the strawberry soda one.
I'm considering getting the ibili whipping siphon.

Is it the right kind of siphon to get?

Thanks! I got it, guess I'll sign up for the siphon course!

Correct it is identical to the 1 liter in every way except the size of the siphon.

Ok, well that's what the shop assistant said
so Even though it's for cream it's essentially the same as the rest of the iSi range and safe to purchase?

the cartridges should be universal

The .5 iSi also seems to use different refill cartridges... not sure how they're different. Anyone have one?

Ok. There's an iSi on special at my local store. Don't know if it's appropriate though: it's the ,5 liter version for cream?
Here's a pic.

Should I get this?

Still would only recommend an isi because their spring systems are so fluid in movment and they have thought a lot about the valve system they use.

Most parts of stainless steel whippers are dishwasher safe. Aluminum is safe in theory, but is massively discolored by most detergents.
Not to discourage you, just something to think about.
