Yikes! Another Oven?

I really do hate being the kind of person who likes/wants the latest and greatest.

Regarding countertop ovens ...

About a year plus ago Grant and crew were lauding the Breville® Smart Oven® Air Fryer Pro. Remember that? After much thinking and reading and wishing, I finally purchased that oven (along with some extra baskets and cutting board).

Now ...

I find myself wanting the Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro. I just can't justify it yet when I have the Smart Oven. Can you? I already pointed out how I hate being Mr. Latest and Greatest. :-)

I do have the Joule sous-vide and use it (and the app) regularly. Is that all there is about this new oven? I really can read recipes. There I go again ... rethinking. Feel free to add any thoughts you might care to share ... with a smile perhaps.

Isn't the only difference that the new one is connected to an app? To me, not reason enough to buy a new one (although the black color is cool).

At this point you're almost right. There are some custom cook modes that are available only with the joule oven. But over the next 6 months there will be some great updates to look forward too.
