Waring Xtreme Narrower Blender Container
robert.c.brown15
Anyone have a Waring Xtreme blender? I find with smaller amounts of product it’s unable to blend because the base is so wide. Does anyone have or know of a smaller blender container that could handle smaller amounts of product?

Apologies, got sidetracked and then forgot. The vitamix blender cup send to have a similar drive to that of a waring. Im not sure of the teeth count, on the vitamix or waring, but they looked close when i was at Costco earlier in the day.

Will do. I was planning on yesterday, but stuff went sideways. I'll get up there in the next week, and see what's what. I did find a website indicating that the metal canisters manufactured by Waring are usable on a Vitamix base. The website itself was a bit scary, one of those plastic conspiracy websites, so I'm skeptical, but regardless of the intelligence of the author, the pictures seemed to support they were interchangeable. Once i have a chance to get over there, i'll let you know.

Please report back! I got interested in this a while back when I was looking at the Blendtec vacuum blender jars. They made one that fit the Vitamix base, and I was thinking about trying it on the Waring. That probably won't ever happen -- those are expensive jars. But it'd be nice to know if other Vitamix-format jars would work too.

Now I'll need to compare when i go to Costco next

This is interesting! Probably too expensive of an experiment to try but I’ll try to research this.

I've got one. I have heard rumors that the Waring bases are compatible with Vitamix jars, but I've never been able to test if that's true.

I do have one, but I've never seem a narrower container for one. All the smaller sizes I've seen are just decreased in height, not width/thickness.
