Question for outfitting 1st kitchen
Josh_Mervis_68279
Does anyone have a list of kitchen gear basics that we could use as a starting point for outfitting a college kid's 1st apartment kitchen?
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Josh Mervis

I think the main items you will need may be:
Cutlery (knives, forks, spoons); several cups; 2-3 plates; knife; medium saucepan; small frying pan; scapula; big spoon. You can also add food storage containers. And depending on what kind of kitchen appliances you have, you can add something else. When I was a college student, this was enough for me at first.

But it is very easy. Table, chair, Stove, Sink, Plate, Cup, Large spoon, Small spoon, Large - small - medium knife, Pot, Frying pan, Kettle. This is the beginning, and then you can decide what to get. Or visit your friends and see how they did.

In general, I think that what has already been listed should be enough for you, but I would also add: a cutting board, bottle and can opener, kitchen towels and sponges, bowls for salads and soups, a kettle or coffee maker, and utensils for the most basic seasonings such as salt, pepper, sugar.
