Non-Turbo Joule no longer for sale?

As far as I can tell, the non-Turbo Joule is no longer available on the Breville website, just the new Turbo model. Amazon still sells the former, but it is Amazon selling it, not Breville.

Appears like Breville is positioning the Joule as a premium product, and ceading the lower end of the market to Anova and many even cheaper imports. Which probably makes sense for Breville's lineup.

It's strange, but perhaps they decided to focus on a more powerful and faster model. I think the Joule Turbo is still a good choice for bain marie cooking if you want a quality and reliable product.

It's not actually more powerful, exactly the same.

I suspect the firmware and possibly the chip responsible for such has changed. Speculating, but would seem to make sense. The actual power would not change, but the hardware and coding for communication may have (emphasize "may")

Apparently the new one has a 40 liter capacity, but the legacy one had only one liter capacity?
