Indoor barbecue
Swa_267291
Hello,
Does anyone have any suggestion on indoor barbecues?
I would like a barbecue that doesn’t produce too much smoke, one that burn efficiently, with easy regulators.
And one that’s not too expensive.

There is no such thing.

The Indegogo-funded Arden Indoor Smoker from FirstBuilt (a kitchen technology incubator owned by GE Appliances) started to be shipped to backers about a month ago.
It is basically an indoor pellet smoker that uses electricity as a heat source and wood pellets to provide smoke (not heat). It has some sort of scrubber technology so that it doesn't release smoke into your kitchen (although there is inevitably some aroma).
I haven't bought one (I prefer to wait 6-12 months and see how it goes), but the initial feedback I've seen online is quite exciting and impressive. It definitely works and produces pretty good smoked meats.
It will become available at Home Depot, etc. from GE Appliances in the first quarter of 2024.
There are groups on Facebook and Reddit.

BTW, I bought one a year ago because it was on sale. It really is very good. You can get them for $499 periodically on sale now.
