Hopefully the Breville+ app doesn't go the way of Anova's

It's great to see the new Breville+ app including tested recipes from America’s Test Kitchen, Serious Eats, and NYT Cooking, all for free if you own an Breville appliance.

But hopefully it doesn't eventually go the subscription route that Anova announced this week for their Anova sous vide app. They are getting pilloried everywhere.

Excited to see Breville+ offering free access to recipes from such trusted sources! It’s a great perk for Breville appliance owners. Fingers crossed they don’t follow the same path as Anova and introduce a subscription model—keeping it free would definitely keep customers happy and loyal. Also, I hope they include some plants based recipes to cater to diverse dietary preferences!
