I own a Sous Vide Professional that i have been using for a few years (and all my sous vide cooking seems to come out correctly) ... My girlfriend recently bought me a Taylor Professional 9306 Dual Temp IR/Thermocouple Thermometer for christmas.
Just playing around, i stuck the probe end in the water and it showed a temp a few degrees cooler °C then the circulator was showing, then i used the infrared scan on the surface and it was also a few degrees cooler, but gave a slightly different amount then the probe.
Is my circulator not accurate? (maybe the thermometer is off) How can i calibrate both properly?
