Seattle Knife Event Coming Up!

Attention knife lovers! We're excited to announce that our friends at Blade Gallery (Epicurean Edge) will be hosting their first Seattle International Knife Show on April 26th & 27th at the Heathman Hotel in Kirkland, WA: http://chfstps.co/1st7o5c The show will feature a range of amazing knifemakers including: Bill Burke, Mareko Maumasi, David Lisch, Aaron Wilburn, Murray Carter, Bob Kramer, Don Carlos Andrade, and Devin Thomas to name a few. I can't wait for this and all the ChefSteps kitchen crew will be there talking with knife makers and possibly you! Get your tickets and come see us.

Great post Grant! The show is on the 26th and 27th of this month. I am so excited to have been invited by Daniel O'Malley to participate in this show. Just so everyone knows on Friday the 25th there will also be an open house at David Lisch's Dragon Fly Studio, and Studio 4 Forging Facility. It's open to the public and it's FREE!! It'll be a great opportunity to hob knob with and to watch makers do what they do best!

Friday's event is a rare opportunity to hang out and see a working bladesmith's/blacksmith's shop. David will have the forges going in Studio 4 Knifemaking School so makers can show their skills and collectors can try their hand or just watch if they like. There will be forging and knifemaking demos in Studio 3. This is a part of this event not to miss!

@Grant - thanks for giving a shout out for the event! We're really excited about next weekend's show. We've got some of the best chef's knife makers in the country as well as a some amazing tactical and custom knifemakers taking part. The show is a celebration of 10 years at our brick & mortar store in Kirkland, WA as well as a good excuse to bring everyone together in one place. Both parts of the event - the pre-funk at the David Lisch's forge (on Friday 4/25) and the show itself in Kirkland (4/26 and 4/27) should be a pretty great amount of fun. All the updates are on our site, www.SeattleKnifeShow.com. We're hoping to make it an annual event!
